Burst mode help for D7500
Dec 29, 2017
Grandson's gymnastics contest is just around the corner and I hope to gather several images in the burst mode. I've set the dial to CH and in the shooting/display menu I've set it to 7, somehow that just doesn't seem fast enough and I would like to go faster. Suggestions? thank you.

Max is 8 FPS as far as I know.. I dont think you can change that in CH that s default.. you can change CL to a lower number, you sure your not looking at CL

It is checked CH. I'll keep trying, not a big deal.

Menu d1 controls the rate per second in CL. You can't change the rate for CH. For CH the max rate per second is 8FPS but things like distortion control can slow it down. Menu d2 controls the max number of shots with one press of the button in CL or CH. Buffer capacity can play a part...see page 347 in the manual

My opinions are my own and not those of DPR or its administration. They carry no 'special' value (except to me and Lacie of course)

If you have set something to 7, then you might have either set the maximum FPS while in CL to 7, or you set the maximum number of frames shoot at 7.
